Kia ProCeed Lease Deals
Kia ProCeed Contract Hire
When you lease the new Kia ProCeed, you’ll no longer get a sleek 3-door hatchback but a sleek 5-door shooting brake, which is basically a mix of an estate car and a coupe. This radical redesign has resulted in a car that has stunning looks as well as great practicality.
The new ProCeed, although technically not a true estate, is actually longer than the Ceed Sportwagon with similar boot space. This means that the new ProCeed is a stylish family car that looks more like a hot hatch than an estate.
The ProCeed is available to lease with a 1.4-litre petrol or 1.6-litre diesel engine. The turbocharged petrol engine will return 45.6mpg and produce 132g/km of CO2 with a manual gearbox and 44.8mpg and 130g/km of CO2 when fitted with an automatic gearbox.
The 1.6-litre CRDi diesel engine will return up to 56.5mpg and produce 110-111g/km of CO2, depending on whether you choose a manual or automatic.
The 1.6-litre T-GDi performance engine in the ProCeed GT understandably sees economy dip slightly, returning up to 39.3mpg with CO2 emissions of 142g/km.
For company car users interested in a business lease, the BIK tax rates start at 27% in the first year for both the petrol and diesel-powered cars.
The Kia ProCeed is available in three different trims levels; the GT-Line, GT-Line S and the GT. Although technically the entry-level trim, the GT-Line comes equipped with 17” alloys, privacy glass, heated front seats & leather steering wheel, dual automatic air conditioning, 8” touchscreen satellite navigation, Android Auto & Apple CarPlay integration and reversing camera.
The GT-Line S trim gives upgraded 18” alloys, wide sunroof with automatic electric roll blind, LED bi-function headlights, black leather & faux suede seats, smart cruise control, smart power tailgate, heated front & rear seats, 8-speaker JBL premium sound system, Smart Park Assist System and Blind-Spot Collision Warning.
The range-topping performance GT trim comes with 18” alloys with red detailing, black leather & faux suede with red stitching and other red interior and exterior detailing.
Ride comfort is superb, especially at motorway speeds, and the steering is smart and responsive. Interior space is impressive and 4 adults will travel in comfort, with excellent legroom in the front and rear. The roof slopes towards the rear of the car, so headroom in the rear is slightly reduced, but there’s still plenty of room.
Boot space in the new ProCeed is among the best in its class at an impressive 594 litres, which dwarves the standard Ceed and is close to that of the Sportwagon. Clever 40:20:40 flat seats with remote folding help you configure space to suit load requirements.
The new Kia ProCeed is yet to be tested by Euro NCAP for safety, but it is fitted with lots of safety features, including Lane Keeping Assist, Autonomous Emergency Braking and a host of driver attention warning systems.
