Renault Grand Scenic Lease Deals
Renault Grand Scenic Contract Hire
If you’re looking for a practical, spacious family car with seven seats and striking design, the Renault Grand Scenic is quite possibly the car for you. Great to drive for a large MPV and extremely well equipped, the Grand Scenic is Renault’s largest model and perfect for larger families.
The Grand Scenic is available with either a turbocharged 1.3-litre petrol engine or a 1.7-litre diesel engine. The petrol version will achieve up to 47.1mpg whilst producing 131g/km of CO2. For those of you interested in leasing the Grand Scenic as a company car that equates to a first year BIK tax rate of 27%.
The diesel engine on the other hand will return up to 57.7mpg whilst emitting 126g/km of CO2, which results in a first year BIK tax rate of 30% for company car users.
You can lease the Grand Scenic in one of three trim levels. The entry-level Play comes with 20” alloy wheels, rear parking sensors, Active Emergency Braking System with pedestrian detection, automatic air conditioning, ABS with Electronic Braking System & Emergency Brake Assist, cruise control with speed limiter and 7” touchscreen with DAB tune, Bluetooth & hands-free calls.
Upgrade to the Iconic trim and you’ll get automatic dual-zone climate control, a sliding centre console with 2 x USB ports, 12v socket & 2 x 500ml bottle holders and TomTom Live services with Western European Mapping.
The top of the range Signature trim comes with a panoramic sunroof with electric sunblind, 8.7” touchscreen with DAB, Bluetooth, USB & AUX sockets, Arkamys 3D sound and colour head-up display.
If you have a large family you’ll be pleased to know that three children can easily fit in the second row of seats and a further two can sit comfortably in the rear row as well. There are ISOFIX points on the two outside seats in the second row for younger children with car seats.
The second row of seats can be moved backwards and forwards to either give more legroom or boot space and the rear-most row of seats can be folded flat into the boot. Boot space is 596 litres with the rear-most seats down, becoming cavernous if you fold all seat flat.
Although the Grand Scenic hasn’t been tested for safety by Euro NCAP, they did test the standard Scenic which this is based on and awarded it the full 5 stars, scoring an impressive 90% for adult occupant protection and 82% for child occupant protection. Euro NCAP stated that the safety rating also applies to the Grand Scenic.
