Vauxhall Grandland X Lease Deals 2019
Why lease a Vauxhall Grandland X in 2019?
If you’re looking for a family-friendly SUV, you would do well to consider the excellent Grandland X from Vauxhall with its spacious interior, big boot and superb NCAP safety rating.
The Grandland X is available with both petrol and diesel engines. The 1.2l turbocharged petrol version returns an impressive 55.4mpg, which is pretty good for a car of its dimensions. If you tend to cover a large number of miles, or you’re likely to use it for towing, the more practical option may be the 1.6l diesel, which returns 70.6mpg with a manual gearbox and 65.7mpg with the six-speed automatic.
If you’re looking to use your Grandland X as a company car, you’ll be pleased to hear that BIK rates are as low as 22%. It will cost you £140 a year in road tax and variants sit between insurance groups 12 and 18.
The Grandland X is comfortable to drive, with both the seats and suspension helping with the ride quality. This is especially helpful over longer distances, which feel like nothing in this car. If you are looking for a relaxed journey, you’ll struggle to find another SUV that offers such good performance.
Sit in the driver’s seat and you’ll see a practical, well-designed dashboard that makes living with the car extremely easy. You won’t be confused with a busy dashboard, instead being greeted with clear dials and a digital display that makes navigation a breeze.
In terms of trim levels, there are four to choose from. The SE trim includes a 7” infotainment system, 17” alloy wheels, climate control with air conditioning and rear parking sensors. Upgrade to the Tech Line Nav spec and you’ll receive an improved infotainment system, 18” alloys and cruise control with speed limiter.
The Sport Nav trim adds diamond-cut 18” alloys and other sporty additions and the top of the range Elite Nav spec adds LED headlights, a powered tailgate, heated leather seats, a heated steering wheel and larger 19” alloys.
Staying on the inside of the Grandland X, you’ll find wireless charging, generous storage throughout and a good sized glovebox. Space in the front and back of the car is excellent with four adults able to travel in total comfort.
Boot space is 514 litres, which is on a par with other SUV’s available. Drop the rear seats and the boot space expands to 1,652 litres. It is worth noting that the entry-level SE does not include split-folding rear seats and a split-level boot floor.
If you’re looking to use the Grandland X to tow, we would recommend choosing a diesel version with a manual gearbox, as this will allow you to tow up to 1,400kg. Manual petrol models can tow up to 1,350kg. Choose an automatic gearbox with either a petrol or diesel engine and you’ll lose around 200kg from your towing capacity.More info > Interested in leasing this vehicle?
